It is my pleasure to begin my 26th year in middle school!!!  I truly believe teaching is a calling, and I love the
opportunity to watch young minds expand and develop!!
I have been married to the love of my life for the last twenty-two years, and we have two amazing children!!!! Our daughter, Mary Beth,
starts her second year at Lee this year. Our son, JimBo, is a freshman at Walker Valley.
I will again be sponsoring the OMS yearbook, and I enjoy spending a great deal of time at our church, North Cleveland Baptist.  My husband is a deacon, and I enjoy singing in the choir.
I am looking forward to a wonderful year!!!!!

the quiz on Friday.

Ornament Explanation Letter-handed out on 11/16/2018
This letter was given to students to explain the ornament project.
It's due Friday, Nov 30th.
ALSO, if anyone has a tree they aren't using, I would LOVE to give it a home!!!! My gorgeous, white tree was thrown out from a closet here over the summer, & the students say they'd love to have a tree for each class period!! 👏🏻😁😊I'll make room for whatever we have!!!!😁
Turkey Review Sheet 11/16
This is an excellent review to see if students are retaining the key items from each civilization.
It's due Tuesday, 11/27.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
Samples from Previous Years
These are some samples from previous years. PLEASE do not spend a lot of money-try to use recycled or refurbished things you already have on hand.

Tuesday, Nov. 13th & Wednesday the 14th

The first picture shows the summary statements we went over in class & the rubric that will be used to determine each student's grade for the Study Guide.
The second picture shows the actual Study Guide questions- they cover everything that will be on the test.  The test is Thursday.
Wednesday, we had a dub while I was at the doctor. She allowed students time to finish their Study Guides and showed a video on Ashoka.
Test will be moved to Friday.

Students turned in their India Chapter Test Study Guides so that I could
give them credit for their great work while they played a review game
with the Taj Mahal. The Study Guides were handed back out to their owners before students left, so they can study again tonight. The 4th block class also took home the sheet on Buddhism to finish since they didn't get it yesterday.

Looking forward to tomorrow's test over India and a turkey color review sheet that will be due when we return from Thanksgiving break.
