About Mrs. Penton

I am an enthusiastic mathematics teacher from south Mississippi, where I completed my bachelors of science degree at the University of Southern Mississippi School of Psychology. My Masters degree was attained through Arkansas State University in Gifted Education. Recently, I added the Special Education Intervention degree to my license. I am now certified to teach any child mathematics from kindergarten through twelfth grade and any level from students with disabilities to students who are gifted. Have I mentioned I love MATH!  Although my dream was to teach middle school math, my first three years was serving elementary students and I served  eleven years teaching high school mathematics. I am excited to be at Ocoee Middle for the sixth  year.
