A list of ten possible projects were listed on the board for students to choose the one that most appeals to him/her.  Although a test was one of the options, most students were more interested in proving their level of mastery of the content by making a magazine cover or creating a power point presentation, etc.

Upon departure, each student was given a Turkey Review Sheet that is due on Wednesday, December 4th.

I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving and a very restful break!!!

After a brief review, students completed the short, ten question quiz. A lengthy discussion ensued about what it really means to answer a question in a complete sentence.  It is not just providing an answer with a subject and a predicate.  It DOES require a restating of the question, while also providing a sufficient answer.  Time was allocated for students to finish yesterday's assignment-four vocabulary words defined and completing questions 1-6 on p. 119 in complete sentences.
Have a wonderful weekend!!!
