Every runner will need a final form filled out. This covers concussion and cardiac arrest awareness, upload physicals, etc. Please click on the link below to make an account and it will be good for any sport your child plays at OMS.
Cross Country Information 2024
Wednesday, August 7th will be our first practice. Bring athletic clothes, tennis shoes and a water bottle.
Please make sure to have an up-to-date physical. It’s good for one year. Runners will not be allowed to run without an updated physical.
Cross Country Fee: Please write a check to OMS Cross Country or cash and put in an envelope with each child's name. $60 Team Fee (includes team t-shirt, snacks and drinks for meets, material cost of hosting meets, etc. and Uniform Rental Fee (Loss or damage to uniform will result in runner having to pay for the full amount).
Practices will be right after school and go to 5:00 most days. The day before races will be our light day and will go until 4:30. Most days pickup will be at the Track and Field at Lee University on Parker Street.
Please follow OMS social media accounts for announcements, sign-ups and it will also be on the school website and morning announcements.
We do have a remind group for all runners and parents that you will need to join for all communication. Text 81010 and text this message @omsxcsu
We will need volunteer helpers for our home meet.
We also sponsor the Halloween Dance in October after our season concludes. Please plan on chaperoning or helping in some capacity! Thanks!
